So I was playing Civilization and noticed I had no sound, hadn't noticed sound since I installed it the other day. Figured it was just the game being messed up and didn't worry about it, not like I play the game for sound anyways. But then I noticed sound wasn't working for anything. So i just deleted my operating system (and everything else on the drive). Once again encountered one of windows odder features. When you delete certain files (mostly in the windows directory), windows goes and recreates them. No errors on deletion, just *poof* their back. Could be confusing if you don't realize it's doing it.
