Shoveling Snow

She's out shoveling snow, and I want to help her, but I can't, and I know I can't, but I want to all the same. I want to get in the car (which I don't own) and drive (which I can't legally do) up to her place and shovel with her. I shoveled/snowblowed our driveway and I didn't want to do that at all, was all grumbly while doing it. But I want to shovel for her. *sigh*
So how's everyone enjoying their winter? Getting much snow...

Yes we got snow too! Our first "real" snowstorm, about 6-8 inches worth.
I don't shovel snow anymore, the last time I did, In January of 91, I had my first heart attack. So now I leave it up to the guys with the snowblowers and plow.
It's perfectly normal to want to help 'her". and also to grumble about what we have to do for our own family....I know. Sometimes I resent doing things for my son.
Then I feel guilty.
Then I get angry....
Then I go look for cake and milk....

or go for a walk.

Ooh, heart attack no good, I was wondering what your hospital trip was for, you take care of yourself. And that pattern does sound familiar... Can't say I have cabin fever, but if you do by all means get out and do something

We're supposed to get 18 inches by the end of the weekend, or so the paper said today.

....we've only had one night of snow all winter...it was barely a dusting of it...we were in awe lol

No snow here but lotsa rain. We get snow about once every 5 years and had the last one 2 years ago...so looks like were OK...

No snow or rain, only sun and heat that could make sausage sizzle on the side walk...

I shoveled/snowblowed our driveway and I didn't want to do that at all, was all grumbly while doing it. But I want to shovel for her. *sigh*
