I Like Silly Acronyms

I'm an idiot.
Been thinking for a while that I should make sure that's on record, so here it is. No particular reason this comes up now, since this is nothing new. But it can't hurt to state things for future reference, right?
That is all, move along.

You can't be an idiot, I never see you at the meetings! ;~D

The only reason you're an idiot is because you don't POST often enough, DB!

Like Ted, I would know if you were really an idiot. But you aren't at the meetings, so Ted and I will continue to hang without you.

I think being an idiot is one of those Catch 22 things like being crazy...if you declare you are, you probably aren't.  Now, if you give us an example of your idiocy, we can let you know if you are indeed an idiot

ParaTed2k: There are meetings? The things I miss out on.
Moderateman: Of course, everyone needs love. At least if they want to be healthy well adjusted people. Which I hear is a good thing...
Marcie Helen: No, that's not the only reason, although I'll agree that is a reason.
xtine: Yeah, but not much that can be done about it. Accept it and move on, or not, oh well.
BlueDev: While you and Ted are welcome to hang out together, my not being with you shouldn't be used as evidence that I'm not an idiot. After all, I might not be smart enough to find the meetings.
JillUser: More of if you declare you aren't then you most likely are. But if you say you are, then you might be honest and aware. Neither of which contradict being an idiot (or crazy, which I most definitly am, but that's another topic altogether). As for reasons... The point was not to list them all, it was to make the claim should it ever be needed in the future. I know I am an idiot, I don't need to be reminded of this, existence is enough of a reminder. Should anyone ever think I'm not an idiot and choose to remind me I can now point out that I am, and have been, aware of the situation. And should you think that is idiotic, well then I guess a longer list isn't needed
Now to see if I can be less lazy and write more tomorrow, which is technically today at this point...

Is this a Freudian thing?

Dr. Guy: I don't know enough freud to know, I suppose it could be.
