So i just deleted my operating system (and everything else on the drive). Once again encountered one of windows odder features. When you delete certain files (mostly in the windows directory), windows goes and recreates them. No errors on deletion, just *poof* their back. Could be confusing if you don't realize it's doing it.
"Why isn't this directory empty? i just deleted everything in it. *click click click* there now it's empty. ... there are still files here?! why won't the files go away? wah, someone make them go away" could be funny to watch 
What would cause me to delete my operating system you might be asking yourself (or not, but i'm going to tell you anyways =P). Well i've been having various problems with my computer lately. Nothing real bad, but slightly annoying all the same. Errors that make no sense in the event viewer (what is MRxSmb and why would it want to be redirected), virus scanners that refuse to run (or give an error or anything). But the big reason was when i was told i didn't have enough permission to uninstall some software. I'm the only one that uses the computer, I had better have enough permission. I haven't reinstalled windows on this computer, it was about due anyways, so i deleted my system, all gone.
Great fun too, let out all those violent urges. Die files, DIE DIE DIE. hehe
Now comes the fun and excitement of reformatting, reinstalling, rereing. And then the best part, finding out what i deleted that i can't life without
