I Like Silly Acronyms

Today I have a cold. I think I had it yesterday too, and probably tomorrow as well. But today I can really feel it. Throat is all owwy, hurts to breath and swallowing is even worse. Nose is all icky and snotty, more so then usual. Eyes are doing that unpleasant burning thing they do.
So I could have some nice hot soup and spend the day in bed, or I could write this blog. Guess which one I picked
Not like I mind being sickish, I'll get better. And it gives me something pointless to ramble about, not that I couldn't have found something else. It's been awhile since I was last sick, so I guess I'm about due. Not that I can say I'm surprised. I go outside in the middle of winter barefoot wearing pants and a t-shirt. Mind you, this winter has been a bit odd with there being very little snow.
At least it's not a bad sort of sick. No vomiting, trips to the hospital, or other badness. Just head in a vise feeling for a couple days. Or not, maybe my head will explode tomorrow. Which wouldn't be all bad, I wouldn't have to clean up the mess

You're so Zen Danny. It's awesome. Embrace the sickness and experience it as fully as you can. After all, it's part of being human.

I do hope that it's short lived for you though. There's more fun in being human when you're not feeling cruddy.

So ten days ago...
Yep, I'm all betterish now. Not sure about the embracing of sickness, since that implies I want to be sick, but I did experience it. And now it's over, until the next time
